Additional US Federal Provisions

COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act) When it comes to the collection of Personal Data from children under the age of 13 years old, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. The Federal Trade Commission, United States’ consumer protection agency, enforces the COPPA Rule, which spells out what operators of websites and online services must do to protect children’s privacy and safety online. We do not specifically market to children under the age of 13 years old.  

CAN SPAM Act The CAN-SPAM Act is a law that sets the rules for commercial email, establishes requirements for commercial messages, gives recipients the right to have emails stopped from being sent to them, and spells out tough penalties for violations. To be in accordance with CAN SPAM, we agree to the following: If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, you can email us, and we will promptly remove you from ALL correspondence.  

Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA)

If we process your Personal Data for the purpose of sending you SMS marketing communications, you may manage your receipt of marketing and non-transactional communications from us by replying or texting ‘STOP’ if you receive our SMS communications. In this respect, the data processing is carried out solely on the basis of our consent in personalized direct advertising per SMS.  

Controls For Do-Not-Track Features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not- Track (‘DNT’) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized.

As such, our website does not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this policy.
